Durwood D. Crawford has been Board Certified in Labor & Employment by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1975. He has broad experience as a litigator representing both employers and employees, including representing management in all forms of union related matters. He also serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitrations Association in employment disputes. While much of his time is spent in litigation, his diverse experience helps him solve employment problems before they begin or helps in obtaining an early resolution.
Durwood has authored and produced several training films and training programs for managers, including a training film for Associated Builders and Contractors. He is also a frequent lecturer and has written numerous articles for the Texas Bar Journal, Prentice Hall, and other publications. He was named a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers® (Thomson Reuters), as printed in Texas Monthly, in 2005 in the area of Employment Litigation.
Durwood served in active duty in the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant from 1954 to 1956. He also served a year as President of the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce.
